  Wonderful piece, hand engraved, a revision of earlier lockets with a swirling etched design. I love the weight of this sweet locket; this size is difficult to find, and its shine makes photos challenging. I have added a nicely weighted sterling silver box chain, sturdy yet not heavy, making this piece a true collector to be handed down between the generations. Some images show the optional addition of a real cultured pearl suspended on a sterling silver wire. I love the whimsy of that addition and can make that for you, too, if you'd like. Gift wrapped.

  Ignore dark reflections in the photos. The face is truly lovely but is hard to capture without reflections.
  
  The chain: 1 mm box chain; marked Italy, 925.
  Alternative 30" 1mm rope chain, seen in the second photo, marked Italy, 925.
  Optional 3" extension upon request.

  Note: As you compare lockets for purchase, insist on sterling silver. Sellers that advertise "antique silver" or just "silver" are likely not offering you real sterling, but rather a silver coated brass. Inquire before you buy. Sterling pieces are marked "925" or "sterling" and they become treasured pieces to be used for generations.
  
  ~ I can put images within the locket for you. If you'd like that option, be aware that it will likely take an extra week to complete your order after I receive your photos. Choose that option when you check out.. You'll need to send a jpeg of your images to my email: notbeforejava [!at] gmail.com. Original jpegs give the best results.
