  The creamy authentic cultured pearls are wired to the chain with a length of sterling or gold filled wire by me. Delicate and perfectly lovely.

Gold filled items are legally required to have a heavier coating of 14K gold, 5% or 1/20 gold by weight, typically bonded over another material, in our case jeweler's brass, which is 90% copper and 10% zinc, both safe metals. Gold filled items stand the test of time; gold plated items will not endure.
