DetailsI loved watching Downton Abbey as much for the jewelry and clothing as for the plot. This is a beautiful long necklace much like those they wore.
Cultured 8mm pearls with the softest blush are separated by 4 mm onyx Austrian crystals and closed with a CZ fold-over clasp. (Pearls are quite hard to photograph due to their luster.) Strung on pure silk, with knotting around the individual pearls, this is a classic for years to come. Really lovely.
The length: 52 inches, but I can make another to your specs
The pearls: 10mm round, softest blush cultured pearls, we call them champagne pearls. This listing is for Grade A pearls, which will show some lines and flaws. I also have grade AAA pearls in this color in a smaller size, 7-8mm, that I can substitute.
The crystals: 4mm onyx Austrian crystals
The clasp: 8 x 17 CZ and sterling silver fold-over clasp
(It's difficult to photograph pearls and onyx crystals for their luster. The onyx is not the AB type that has a fake luster. These are classic elements.)
