  Unless you choose “mantelpiece” in your selection, you are ordering garland that has a blunt end and a pointed end, something perfect for stairways.
  
  A word about mantelpieces or doorway drapes...Doorways and mantels require that the direction of the boughs on the garland are split so both sides fall gracefully with gravity and end symmetrically in a point. To do that on this special garland, I use part if another garland to fill the gap that is created when I split the boughs. The up-charge is small, but the effect is beautiful. Reach out for me to get this special treatment. If I don't hear from you, all of the garland will come to you as it is, with all boughs pointing in one direction.
  
  This delightful garland is similar to the incredibly realistic long needled pine that I’ve offered for years, but look closely, woven into the long needles are a few golden needles, just as real sugar pine tree boughs will have, as the previous year’s needles linger a while. Beautiful, extra full long needled boughs, uncommonly realistic. The last image shows this sugar pine aside the long needled pine. Sugar Pine Garland is 6 feet long and strands can connect, however, I can make any length for you.
  
  in the second image with the red and white stockings, I have wired additional greens on the left side of the mantelpiece to add a little thickness to the asymmetric treatment. On the right side of that same image, just a single strand of this special pine drapes down.
  
  The fourth image on the stone fireplace shows how thick this looks when two are wired side-by-side.

  The last image shows you how I mount my garlands. These are 2 to 4 pound clear Command Hooks.
