  I loved watching Downton Abbey as much for the jewelry and clothing as for the plot. This sweet bracelet was made to complement the beautiful long necklace on another listing of that classic period drama.   This lovely piece is carefully constructed to create a balance of design between the hematite and the pearl sequence. If you're a math lover, you might enjoy knowing that the spacing between the pearls is equal to the width of the pearls, creating a very lovely balance that appeals to the eye.
  
  Something to notice...The weakest parts of any silk-strung pearls is the clasp, where the silk is in friction with that piece. Well made pearls will protect the silk with what is called a "gimp", a tightly wound piece of sterling or gold plated wire that encases the silk to form a sleeve that will take the abuse of the clasp without harming the silk. Whether you buy from me or anyone else, look for that gimp.
  
  Cultured 7-8mm pearls with the softest blush are separated by hematite and closed with a sterling silver clasp. (Pearls are quite hard to photograph due to their luster.) Strung on pure silk, this is a classic for years to come. Very lovely.
  
  The length: 6-7 inches, but I can make another to your specs. Just contact me.

  The beads: 1x2mm genuine hematite
  
  The clasp: sterling silver Etruscan styled safety clasp, super hard to find, chosen to take the beating that bracelets take without opening.
