A lovely sterling silver locket, hand-engraved; this sweet locket appears delicate but is sturdily made and truly beautiful. I've added a delicate but reliable box chain A few images show the sweet addition of a real cultured pearl suspended on a sterling silver wire. I can add that bit if whimsy, too, if you'd like.
Note: As you compare lockets for purchase, insist on sterling silver. Sellers who advertise "antique silver" or just "silver" are not offering you real sterling, but rather a silver coated brass. Inquire before you buy. Solid sterling pieces are marked "925" or "sterling" and they become treasured pieces to be used for generations. Gift wrapped.
The locket: 42 mm by 21 mm (1 3/16 inches x 7/8 inches) (1 5/8 inches tall with the bail); 6 grams
The chain: 18-30 inch box chain, .8mm wide.
Optional chain: a more delicate look: 1.3mm highly reflective flat link cable chain. (If you'd prefer this option, please choose the cable chain option.)
