DetailsThis ladle, by Blackinton in a pattern called Helena, is delicately formed with a smaller bowl. I would use this for mustards or sauces that should be applied lightly--pepper sauces? This lovely ladle has a very slight gold wash in the bowl, very faint now due to the age of this piece. Blackinton started making this pattern in 1900. The Blackinton name is venerable, as one of its first commissions was to provide flatware to US embassies across the world. Helena, by Blackinton, is a lovely traditional pattern from the turn of the century.

This ladle has a gold wash applied to the bowl, which, due to the age of this piece, is very light now. The spoon is 5 1/4" in length and weighs 15 grams. The bowl is a diminutive 1.25" wide. Super sweet.
Markings: Sterling, Pat 1900. The classic Blackinton mark of a sword drawn through a capital B
No Monogram.

Commensurate with age, the condition is very good to excellent.
