DetailsYour favorite sauces or salsas deserve a sweet server like this one. Beautiful, classically styled antique sterling silver ladle. Looks great..approximately 4 5/8 inches long..-hard to get an exact measurement because of the spoon shape....weighs approximately one half ounce/15 grams. Monogrammed, perhaps a T, F or J?
This pattern is Commonwealth, a classic. Watson sterling is known for being both nicely weighted and beautifully crafted.
Pattern: 1908 Commonwealth
Weight: 15 grams
Length: 4 5/8 inches long
The bowl: 1 5/8 x 1 1/2 inches, slightly oval in its presentation
Hallmark: crown, W, lion passant (the symbol of the Watson Company); and the word Sterling.
Since it's solid silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
Free of dings and dents; there are a few minor surface scratches
Commensurate with age, the condition is very good.
