Made by Duchin Company in and around the 50’s, this compote is based in weighted sterling silver, ensuring that both the finish will never wear off, and the piece will not tip due to weight in the bowl. Charming.

Capacity: about 1 1/4 cups liquid, more if solid, as in a cheese ball.

No dents, no scratches. Buy two and skip shipping costs.
Since the base is sterling silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
No monogram.

A delight for the eye ! Made with style and definitely a Wow factor tucked in! Clear glass upper compote bowl , that has delicate designs and features a base in silver plate , which unscrews ( surprise there) ! What a lovely discovery! Perfect!
