  Do you want to change out a chain with one of the lockets I find...or, do you just need a chain? You pick your length. (Those of you who are buying a locket will receive a discount for the chain that you are seeking to substitute~contact me for the info)
  
  First, a word about chains. I'll put definitions below, but you should know that all of the chains I offer are first quality, pure sterling or true gold filled, purchased from reputable American jewelry suppliers. If you find someone offering you a cheap price but claiming gold filled, run. True gold filled jewelry is governed by law, as stated below, and real gold is pricey.
  
  Cable chains: These might be constructed of rolo(rounded) or flat links. They are the standard in the industry for linked chains.
  Rolo links: rounded edges, strong, but a little less reflective. The only rolo chain I have is in the 2x4mm elongated cable, both sterling and yellow gold.
  Flat cable links: these flattened links are highly reflective without losing strength. All linked chains on this posting are flat cable, except the above. I can make an unlimited length with this chain. I can also make a double or triple chain, mixing types per your preferences. Note: I stumbled onto a great price for the 2.1mm gold chain. It’s actually less than the next smaller version!
  
  Box chains: These are sturdy chains, but still delicate looking, due to their width. These are not handmade by me, but are purchased from a reputable supplier and made in Italy.
  
  Snake Chains: The 1mm chains are Italian made. the 1mm chains are made by me. Beautiful shine, lovely construction. Sturdy. I can make an unlimited length with this chain!
  
  ST = sterling silver
  YG = yellow gold filled *
  RG = rose gold filled *
  
  
  If you don't see what you need, send me a note. I can generally get it within a few days. I have a few shorter (24" or less) vintage chains in varying types. Great prices. Send me a note if you're interested in one of those.
  
  *As a point of information, always seek gold filled jewelry over gold plated pieces. Gold filled items are legally required to have a heavier coating of gold, 5% or 1/20 gold by weight, typically bonded over another material, in our case jeweler's brass, which is 90% copper and 10% zinc, both safe metals. Gold filled items stand the test of time; gold plated items will not endure.
