    Just exquisite in every way.

I love beautifully crafted servers like these. They always delight my guests and make me happy, too. When I think about elegant meals or even just impromptu ones, servers like these are always just so perfect. Think about the holidays. but they're perfect for every day use, too, as they're solid sterling silver.

This server and many other pieces are listed on my personal Etsy shop with a discount. Contact me for that link.

Truly one of my all-time favorites, this is a pattern called Violet made by respected Wallace silver. The violet pattern was rolled out in 1904 and continued two decades thereafter. Notice the lovely designs on both sides of the handle and into the fluted bowl of the ladle. Pieces like these are treasures for years to come. The cake server comes with a stainless steel blade, something to be desired over the previously made silver plated varieties.

I have two sizes of sauce servers. One is a large ladle that can be used for soups, berries, gravies, pasta, etc. Another is a smaller ladle, often called a cream ladle, that can be used for sauces, sugars, salsas, just about anything on a charcuterie board. I rarely find this size in this pattern and with our frequent company, I use it often. Though it’s often called a cream ladle, it’s larger than most in that category.

Berry spoons are larger than typical serving spoons and that much more lovely. I use mine for serving everything for the hearty appetites in my family. Berry spoons often have special details, and this one does not disappoint. Notice the special carvings on the bowl of the spoon, and notice the special shapes. Just exquisite and in pristine condition.

The cake server is especially lovely and appears to have been rarely used. It bears the same lovely detailing and is perfect for special occasions or just lovely meals. I'm especially fond of giving pieces like this to the bride-to-be to be used at the wedding ceremony and cherished thereafter. Lovely.

These items are previously owned. All may have light surface scratches and minor tarnish.

Since these are sterling silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)

Commensurate with age, the condition is excellent.
