DetailsCelebrating harvest...An exquisite Heisey divided etched crystal bowl with a Web sterling silver base. Circa 1940. Etched with leaves and vines, a wheat pattern. Divided bowl with solid sterling silver base. The base is marked Web Sterling and the base of the glass bears the classic Heisey "H" within a diamond.
The bowl is 5 1/4 in wide x 4 3/8 in tall
Weight is 1 pound 6 ounces
No monogram.
Commensurate with age, the condition is excellent. No scratches, no chips, no dents.

A word of caution...many sellers advertise these pieces as "silver" when they are silver plate. Be sure that you can see the mark.
Since the base is sterling silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.) -
