These sweet pieces are fashioned by Gebruder Neumann from Hanau in the early part of the 20th century. It is quite unusual to have so many in one offering. There are two images on the salt cellars. The more dominant is of a larger cupid teaching a smaller one about the world. The teacher has his hand on the globe and is reaching out to the smaller cherub who busily pens notes. On the opposite side, a cupid holds a bow in a classic motif. Love these!
German 800 silver, c. 1920. A great wedding gift or special piece for any silver lover. Turn of the century elegance.

Since it's solid 800 silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
No monogram.
Commensurate with age, the condition is very good to excellent.
