I found this sweet footed vessel in a sweet little antique shop at our last visit to Germany, but the markings indicate that it hails from London from the 1930s. It was made by Carrington & Co. a business founded by John Carrington (JBC) (1873-1880). The firm became Carrington & Co (1880-1922) and Carrington & Co Ltd from 1922.The firm was active at 130 Regent Street, London.

The spoon is included. It's 800 silver with a sweet lily of the valley stem, likely hailing from Germany.

I love sweet pots like this for both formal dining and informal charcuterie boards. The lid makes it perfect for both outside dining and inside affairs.

There are a couple of soft little dents to the sides between the feet of this piece, something I didn't notice without close examination, definitely not obvious as a table piece.
Since it's solid silver, the standard for German silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)

Commensurate with age, the condition is very good.
