DetailsSometimes you stumble upon something that just makes you happy every time you look at it.
I found this sweet hand-made piece at auction, so loved that it was black with use. I don't have a clue to its origin, but the detail on the handle puts it in a time where cutout sterling was very popular, in the early 20th century.
It's sterling, and marked with the word, so it's likely American made. I love putting pieces like these in the hands of my grandson who loves to snuff candles in our Advent wreath.
