I became interested in these anticipating my two-year-old grandson's visit for Christmas this past year. I knew he was a fan of candles, and saw these as a perfect addition to an Advent wreath I was considering making. What a hit these were! He could not wait to help me light and then snuff them.
These candle holders are a charming look back on more elegant design of days done by. Note the differences in height, design, and base.
Made by the Fisher Company in and around the 50s, these are based in weighted sterling silver, ensuring that both the finish will never wear off, and the piece will not tip due to weight within the base. Charming. Difficult to catch the elegance of the detailing, especially as their shine wants to reflect everything in the room. Hope it comes through for you.
