Some of the images look golden due to the high luster, but all are sterling silver. (You can tell how shiny they are...I couldn't get away from the reflections!) Lovely.

  Please note: Some sellers advertise "silver" when pieces may not contain any real silver or may be silver plated. Make sure that you can see the mark. Sterling pieces are marked 925 or sterling.
  
  Since these pieces are solid silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. Sterling pieces stand the test of time and become treasured keepsakes. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. I don't even trouble with a cloth. A little polish on my thumb cleans everything to sparking new. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
