• Details
  Lovely alabaster salt cellar, of Italian origins given its composition. Notice the beautifully detailed cherubs holding up the dishes. Delicately detailed arches encircle the rim beneath the bowl.
  
  This was a cherished piece, for it is in beautiful condition, with no damage to the silver or the alabaster. The interior and exterior of the bowl is polished to a glossy luster. Don’t miss the sweet cherubs holding up the piece. Truly lovely.
  
  Superb antique condition, no chips.
  Marked 800, notice though that part of the typical 800 mark is missing in the stamp. From the photos, the 00 are clearly visible. No other stamp from that time would end this way, so we know it's 800 silver. Estimated 19th-early 20th century.

  This is truly a rare salt cellar. Lovely details.
  
  Since it's solid 800 silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
  
  No monogram.
  
  Commensurate with age, the condition is excellent. The most colorful of these shows the most etching from salt. All of the rest are similar with less etching.
