DetailsSalt cellars are such an elegant addition to any table setting, especially at the holidays...These sweet pieces are unmarked as to the maker, but were likely fashioned in the early part of the 20th century. Likely Italian 800 silver, c. 1920. A great wedding gift or special piece for any silver lover. Notice the detail of the edge, if you can see it. Making that pinch pleat had to be tricky, but the edge itself has a stippled effect. Turn of the century elegance. Love these!

Since it's solid 800 silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
No monogram.
Commensurate with age, the condition is very good to excellent.
