If you are a tea lover, this is a beautiful way to begin your day. Think Downton Abbey elegance. Notice the friends at the handles' ends They sit together discussing the day...It's unusual to find this detail in sterling silver pieces; they're most often German silver, 800/1000 rather than sterling, which is 925/1000. Notice the gilded bowl to minimize polishing. Just so lovely.
Sweet pieces like this are not easily found. This sterling silver tea strainer has its own little basin for resting the strainer after your first brewing. Detailed with the Edwardian, art nouveau details that I absolutely love.

Since it's solid 925 silver, you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off with use. A simple polish removes any accumulating tarnish. (I prefer Hagerty Silversmith's wash with a tarnish preventative. Avoid using silver dips; they'll remove the lovely patina that gathers in the crevices to enhance the detail of these pieces.)
No monogram.
Commensurate with age, the condition is excellent.
